Class BE

You must have passed the driving test in class B before you can start driving training in class BE/B96. Mandatory training in class BE is:

Cargo securing course (2 hours)
2 step assessment hours
Road safety course (3 hours)

Upon completion of the mandatory training, you will receive a class B96 driving license. Class B96 gives you the right to drive a car with a trailer with a current total weight of 4,250 kg. If you complete the practical test in addition, you will receive a class BE driving license. Class BE gives you the right to drive a car with a trailer with a current total weight of 7,000 kg.
